Environment Environmental Business
We aim to both expand the range of green products we handle, and be in harmony with the environment.
In our Environmental Business, we also promote the use of environmentally-friendly biodiesel fuel made from vegetable oil.
In addition, we sell environmentally-friendly AdBlue®, a high-grade urea water that reduces the nitrogen oxides (NOx) emitted by diesel vehicles, and supply renewable energy through solar power generation at six sites across Japan.
As an energy supply company for more than seventy years since our founding, our social mission is to face environmental issues, further strengthen and enhance the green products we handle, and to contribute to bringing about a carbon-neutral society.

Solar power
Our Solar Power Business makes renewable electricity from the light of the sun. We operate solar power stations at six sites nationwide, which generate a total of some 9.0 megawatts, or enough to power 2,361 households each year.

AdBlue®
This is a high-grade urea water for ammonia-based waste gas treatment systems installed in diesel vehicles. It splits the nitrogen oxides, which are considered to be a cause of air pollution, into harmless nitrogen and water.

Initiatives for next-generation energiesBiodiesel Fuel
This is a clean substitute fuel for diesel oil derived from vegetable oils. It should lead to a reduction in CO2 emissions from diesel engines.
